Sorry for posting squirrel pictures two days in a row. You know that I cannot help my squirrel fascination. It overwhelms me. I was in the middle of eating lunch when I saw him. He spent a great deal of time sitting on the deck railing just plotting out his master seed plan. I could read his little squirrely brain as he sat and contemplated whether he could make the big leap onto the bird feeder or not. He dithered long enough that I could get up and with great stealth go and get my camera.
I quietly sat on the floor in front of the sliding glass door and watched him for a bit. He would scamper down off the railing and root around for seeds for a while. And then he would realize that I was there and scamper back to the railing to chatter at me before being overcome with seed lust. Back and forth, back and forth.
How can I know that it was a “he”? Well……..I have pictures to prove it. Come back next week for some squirrel porn.
