So, I decided to do a little photo project on Monday. Just to spice my life up even MORE than it already is.
I KNOW! How can it possibly be any spicier than it already is when I am married to HHBL.
Oh YES!
Can you hear all the progeny retching at the moment? Hehehehehehe.
Moving on.
So, I decided that with the aid of my trusty iPhone I would take a picture of my day, one hour at a time. Just because, you know, I could.
6am: Coffee and news. The best ways to start the day.
7am: The four times a week walking excursion. In my $25 Wally Mart boots that are SOOOOO warm.
8am: back from walk and on to the next household chore……dishes.
9am: Monday is shopping day. Last minute coupon clipping and more coffee.
10am: Deep in the aisles at Giant Eagle. Got a few funny looks when I whipped out the iPhone and took a picture of the contents of my cart.
11am: Library stop. I love the library. I love the smell of the books. So much to explore.
Noon: My lunch which consisted of a homemade fruit smooth and time spent reading Bodies of Subversion a book on the history of women and tattoos. Very interesting indeed although it was an early addition of the book. I understand later additions have better photographs….which is good…because the photos in this version are poor at best.
1pm: Work. Photo editing. Billing. Etc.
2pm: A bit of a break to watch the first episode in Season 2 of Call the Midwife. And since I was sitting there I figured I would cast on sock #2 from my Adobe Bricks socks. OK, this was really taken at 2:20p cuz I lost track of time a bit.
3pm: Catching up on a pile of clothing repairs and knit item finishing. The pile wasn’t getting any smaller so I figured I might as well get it all done.
4pm: More coffee and more women and tattoos.
5pm: Hunger pangs overcome me and I indulge in snap pea pods. One of my favorite snacks.
6pm: Dinner preparation. Hot ham and cheese sandwiches plus green beans from last year’s garden. I think this was the last of the beans that are in the freezer. And of course just a sip of wine to help with the cooking process.
7pm: What everyone wants to see, my half consumed dinner.
8pm: a rather blurry and inferior picture of me and knitting and the Smithsonian channel which I had just discovered I can get on Netflix. Just what I wanted, to be able to knit AND watch a program on airplane disasters. Perfect!
9pm: Still knitting and Netflixing. Tiny mitered squares are lovely mindless knitting.
10pm: The iPad and the bed. A perfect way to end the day.
Is that your mom's recipe for hot ham and cheese sandwiches? I still have it! Love those. Great pictures and great idea for a post-- maybe I will do one, too, sometime.
ReplyDeleteThe same recipe. So easy and SOOOOOOOO delicious.
DeleteDeb, what is the recipe for the sandwiches? Randy would probably love it :)
