Day 89–Nature’s Course

When we moved into Chez Knit, almost 13 years ago, this while a huge pile of logs that had come from the clearing of the lot in preparation for building. I think we fully intended to have them cut up for fire wood. But the years passed. And we cut down other trees and bought fire wood. And we just never got around to it.

Nature is continuing to take it’s course with the wood and in another few years these will just be part of the forest floor.
