Pictures From the Crypt Because I Said So!

It is a cold and dreary day here at Chez Knit. Evidently there was snow earlier but I missed it.

Oh. Darn.

And since it is so dreary. And because I haven’t done one of these for an age. I thought we should have an installment of '

Pictures From the Crypt

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

OK, I am find now.

Don’t you wish you could travel with us?? Look at the fun contortions that we can fold ourselves in to. This happens to be Pilot Man and yours truly on a trip to Germany in…..1983. Thank Papa for taking SUCH a flattering picture. And the scary thing is, you might see me in this same position now taking pictures of odd things close up.

My family just smiles and moves on. Sigh.

DAQ and broken arm

Wow, could I look any more down in the dumps? Of course the broken arm doesn’t help the whole situation. Actually I sort of look like I am planning death for someone.

Probably Pilot Man.

And who is that sitting next to me?

DAQ and Sue Nov63

Wook I am a PWINCESS!

GLP and Andrew Oct63

This is my Grandpa Pringle and HIS dad Andrew. This is one of my mostest favorite pictures. You know why? Well, I do love it because it has Grandpa in it. But what I love most is that there is a great picture of Grandpa’s hand in it. He had very distinctive hands. And VERY strong fingers. If he pinched you to get your attention you knew it.

Doesn’t everyone allow their dog to sleep in their bed with them….under the covers. Doesn’t Gretchen look SOOOOO happy there.

When we registered her with the Kennel Club we WANTED to name her

Gretchen Das Vee en Pooper. But they wouldn’t go for it.

I don’t understand why?

Oh my word there are FROOT LOOPS on the table. I was sure this wasn’t at my house until I saw the wall scones and that weird chaffing dish thing behind Pilot Man. Did we somehow slip that box into breakfast without Mimi knowing about it? We did not get to eat Froot Loops.

Even now, if I could find out who cut my hair like this I might do them bodily harm.

RCA DAQ on pony 64

Shut your pie hole I’m driving this horse!

The horror! Oh the horror! A bad flippy hairdo AND bucky teeth. Could I be any more nerdy if I actually tried?

DSCN2185

I am without words for this one.

Oh lordy, the stud muffin horse wrangler is helping me and I haven’t brushed my hair in say….6 months. AND I am wearing LOAFERS while riding a horse.

NERD!

I think that is enough pain and agony for this installment.

  1. Wow, that is a stud muffin horse wrangler. He must like you because you're not allowed to wear loafers to ride horses (unless you're a babe). Was that Pioneer Girls? I remember those days. :)

  2. thank the Good Lord I must have been sitting on the other side of the table. We weren't allowed to have Froot Loops either so there must have been some kind of massive solar flair that day or something. Maybe our moms were so busy antiquing that they let the dads do the grocery shopping. I <3 <3 <3 the one of you with the cast on your arm. That expression is priceless.

    1. I am still trying to picture our fathers going to the grocery store. And you should thank me, I almost posted a picture of all of us that was flattering to none. I restrained myself.
